Sucking at something is the first step towards being sorta good at something.

Jake the Dog

In 2016/2017 I started studying Biology at the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC). During those 4 years, I developed an interest in fields related to genomics and anthropology and especially in data analysis of these fields.

Because of this and in order to satisfy my interest in learning the ins and outs of these areas, after graduating in Biology in 2020, I started studying Bioinformatics at the Universidade de A Coruña (UDC) gaining valuable knowledge and discovering my passion.

Currently, I am learning and developing my skills at the Instituto de Investigación de Santiago de Compostela (IDIS) in the GenPoB group and starting my PhD in Advances and New Strategies in Forensic Sciences at USC.
